What is Rentium?
An all-in-one property management app for managers, landlords, and tenants — rent collection, leases, maintenance, documents, and a clear dashboard, all in one place.
Who is it for?
Property management companies, individual landlords, and their tenants. Each person sees only what's relevant to them.
Is it really free to start?
Yes — free forever for up to 5 units. Beyond that, pricing starts at $1.25/unit/mo and drops as you grow, after a 3-week free trial.
Can I move my data from AppFolio or Buildium?
Yes. Our guided importer brings in your properties, units, and tenants from AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, or Rentec via CSV — with a review step before anything goes live.
How do tenants pay rent?
By bank transfer (ACH) or card, from their phone or the browser. Rent charges are raised automatically each month and reminders go out before rent is late.
Is my data kept separate from other accounts?
Yes. Managers, landlords, and tenants each see only their own data, and payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Can you move my data for me?
Yes — that's our favorite part. On a free setup call we take your AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, or Rentec export and load your properties, units, tenants, and leases for you, with a review step before anything goes live. Prefer DIY? The guided importer is built in.
Do my tenants need to download anything?
No. Rentium runs in the browser on any phone or computer. Tenants get an invite link, sign in, and can pay rent or report an issue right away — free for them, always.
Is there a monthly minimum or a contract?
No minimums, no contracts, no setup fees. Free up to 5 units; beyond that it's per-unit pricing that drops as you grow, and you can cancel anytime.
How is my data protected?
Payments are processed by Stripe — card and bank details never touch our servers. All traffic is encrypted in transit, and every organization's data is strictly isolated: managers, landlords, and tenants each see only their own.
What happens when my free trial ends?
You pick a plan — or if you're at 5 units or fewer, you just keep using the free plan. Your data stays either way; nothing is deleted.
Who is behind Rentium?
Landlords who manage 100+ of their own units in Seattle. We built Rentium because the software we were paying for felt like it was working against us. Our own portfolio runs on it first.
