GUIDE
Getting started with Rentium
From an empty account to collecting rent. About fifteen minutes, most of it waiting on other people.
-
1
Add your first property
From the dashboard, open Properties and add a property with its address. Add units underneath it — a single-family home is one unit; a fourplex is four. Everything else in Rentium hangs off units, so this is the only step you have to do first.
-
2
Create a lease
Open Leasing and create a lease against a unit: start and end dates, rent amount, and due day. That due day is what raises the monthly rent charge automatically, so you never have to remember to bill anyone.
-
3
Invite your tenant
Invite the tenant by email from the lease. They get a link, set a password, and land in their own portal — nothing to install, and it's free for them. They can pay rent and report problems immediately.
-
4
Connect a bank account
To collect rent online, connect your payout account through Stripe. Card and bank details go straight to Stripe and are never stored on Rentium's servers. Tenants can then pay by ACH or card.

Let it run
Charges raise themselves each month, reminders go out before rent is late, and receipts send themselves. ACH takes 3–5 business days to settle, and a payment is only marked paid once the bank confirms it.
